# Nomenclator > Nomenclator audits what AI assistants tell buyers about UK businesses. It asks ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Google AI Mode (with AI Overviews), Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot the questions a business's buyers ask, finds the wrong facts, the missing answers and the rivals named in the business's place, traces every wrong claim to the page or source that caused it, and hands each fix to the team that owns it. Nomenclator is the trading name of Christopher Beaumont, an independent marketing consultant and fractional marketing director based in Aberdeen, Scotland, working with independent businesses across the UK. All prices are published. The name: in Rome a nomenclator walked at a candidate's shoulder and whispered the name of every voter approaching. Today the AI assistant does that job for buyers — and, when its sources are wrong, names the wrong business. The practice is the one who checks. ## Services and prices (GBP) - AI Visibility Snapshot — free, two working days. Ten buyer questions in the business's category, asked of all five engines: where the business is named, where its rivals are, what is said about it, and the three problems worth fixing first. Two pages, with an optional 20-minute walkthrough. - AI Visibility Audit — £1,950 fixed, two weeks (£2,450 for two brands or markets). Sixty buyer questions across all five engines. Delivers: the Engine Report (every answer kept verbatim), Share of Voice against three rivals, the Claim Register (every untrue statement with its correction), the Source Map (the pages, directories, reviews and threads each engine trusts), the Readability Check (crawler access and structured data), the Fix Plan by team, a 45-minute walkthrough, and a re-run of the worst questions a week after the first fixes. The client's part is a ten-question intake form. - Managed AI Visibility — from £1,500 a month. The same questions re-run every month, fixes briefed to each team, a leadership report on the same date each month, a quarterly strategy review. - Fractional Marketing Director — from £4,000 a month, scoped on a call. Marketing direction owned: the plan, the budget, the suppliers and the board report, with Managed AI Visibility included. ## The guarantee No find, no fee: the audit finds at least five material problems, or the client doesn't pay. A material problem is a wrong fact about the business (a price, policy, service, address or opening hours); a buyer question in the category where the business is absent and a rival is named; a source the engines cite for the business that is out of date or wrong; or a crawler block, or structured data that contradicts the business's own pages. Each distinct problem counts once, however many engines repeat it. Nothing is invoiced until the findings are in: on day twelve the client is told how many material problems were found, and £1,950 is invoiced only if it is five or more; the report and walkthrough follow payment. An audit is only offered when the free snapshot has already found at least two problems. Capacity: five audits a month. ## What the practice does not do - It does not sell a software platform or dashboard. - It does not promise a ranking or recommendation inside any AI assistant — there is none to buy. - Implementation is carried out by the business's own teams; the audit says what to fix, why, and who fixes it. ## Pages - [Home](https://nomenclator.co.uk/): what AI assistants say about a business, and how the audit works - [The AI Visibility Audit](https://nomenclator.co.uk/audit): the eight parts, the two weeks, the guarantee - [The free snapshot](https://nomenclator.co.uk/snapshot): request form - [Services and prices](https://nomenclator.co.uk/services) - [Compare](https://nomenclator.co.uk/compare): the audit against an AI visibility platform, an SEO or "GEO" agency, and checking it yourself - [About the practice](https://nomenclator.co.uk/about) - Solutions by team: [Marketing](https://nomenclator.co.uk/solutions/marketing), [Customer experience](https://nomenclator.co.uk/solutions/customer-experience), [Content](https://nomenclator.co.uk/solutions/content), [PR & brand](https://nomenclator.co.uk/solutions/pr-brand), [Leadership](https://nomenclator.co.uk/solutions/leadership) - How each engine decides: [ChatGPT](https://nomenclator.co.uk/engines/chatgpt), [Gemini](https://nomenclator.co.uk/engines/gemini), [Google AI Mode](https://nomenclator.co.uk/engines/google-ai-mode), [Perplexity](https://nomenclator.co.uk/engines/perplexity), [Microsoft Copilot](https://nomenclator.co.uk/engines/copilot) ## Contact - Email: christopherbeaumont@nomenclator.co.uk - LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/christopher-beaumont-nomenclator/ - The free snapshot: https://nomenclator.co.uk/snapshot ## Sources for the figures on the site UK statistics are from Ofcom: Online Nation 2025 (with Similarweb, YouGov and Pew Research data as credited on each page) and Ofcom's Strategic approach to AI 2026/27.
