Which of your pages does AI actually quote?
Assistants quote pages that answer a question plainly, carry facts they can check, and say the same as every other source. The audit shows which of your pages are quoted, which are read and ignored, and what to write next.
Four failures. Each one fixable, once it’s found.

Read, but not quoted
Being crawled isn’t being cited. Most pages are read and left out — and someone else’s page is quoted instead.
- “How much does [service] cost?”No page
- “Is [you] right for [need]?”No page
- “[You] or [Rival A]?”No page
- “How long does [service] take?”Answered

Questions with no page to answer them
Buyers ask things your site never answers directly, so the assistant answers from someone else’s page.
- “Industry-leading service”Can’t be checked
- “Established 2009”Checkable
- “Over 2,000 clients”No source
- “Accredited by [body]”Checkable

Claims an assistant can’t check
Adjectives are ignored; dated, sourced facts get repeated. “Industry-leading” never reaches the buyer.

Structured data that disagrees with the page
Markup that contradicts your pages asserts the wrong thing with authority: the wrong hours, stated as fact.
Your part of the plan. With the evidence behind every fix.
- Which pages are quoted, read or ignored, engine by engine
- The buyer questions with no page to answer them — your next briefs
- Every claim on your pages an assistant can’t verify
- Structured-data fixes, checked against what each page says
- Citation by pageWhich of your pages are linked as sources
- Question coverageWhich buyer questions you have a page for
- VerifiabilityClaims with a date, a number or a source
- ConsistencyWhether your pages agree with every other source
- Structured dataPresent, missing, or contradicting the page
- Crawler accessWhat each engine’s crawler can reach
Before you ask. Each answered in its first sentence.
Do we need to write more content?
Usually less than you’d think. Rewriting a handful of pages to answer directly often matters more than publishing more of them.
Does AI-written content get cited?
Assistants don’t reward who wrote a page; they quote pages that answer clearly and agree with other sources. Volume without that doesn’t help.
What is structured data, and does it matter?
Machine-readable labels on a page — your hours, services, prices, questions and answers. When they match the page, they help; when they contradict it, they assert the wrong thing.
Will you write the pages?
The audit gives your team the briefs: which question, which page, which facts. The writing is yours or your agency’s; if the practice would be paid for it, the plan says so.
How do we know a rewrite worked?
The worst questions are re-run a week after the first fixes, and every month on the managed programme.
